The news just arrived! The Jacksons will be releasing an Official Book about the band and their journey from Motown to Epic in 2018!
The Jackson siblings’ first ever official publication will be released by Thames & Hudson in 2018 to mark the 50th anniversary of the release of The Jackson Five’s début single “Big Boy”.
The Jacksons: Legacy is a “comprehensive” and “definitive” book that tells the band’s story in their own words, alongside “outstanding” visuals.
The publisher holds world rights in all languages.
The title features never-before-seen pictures gained from “unparalleled access” to the family’s archives, and includes images of their mother, Katherine.
T&H will support the book with a “multilayered” promotional programme with the four surviving brothers’ involvement—Michael, the youngest of the original quintet, passed away in 2009— including a proposed TV special and live events worldwide.
Clearly the book will have some unseen pictures of Michael while he was still part of the 2 bands “The Jackson 5” and “The Jacksons”.
More information coming soon so stay tuned!
