If you remember the issue in East Austin US with one of MJ Mural painted over Last May, here the same has happened in Tauranga, New Zealand.
The mural was a painting of Michael Jackson & Elvis Presley which was situated on the 15th Avenue.
Gill Hills who discovered that the painting has gone managed to speak to the owner of the wall:
“A man was coming out door and I said “I am devastated” turned out to be the owner who said “Elvis has left the building!” He said a number of people were disappointed and he himself really liked it but it had been done with anti graffiti paint which had started to peel. He tried water-blasting but had to be painted over. He said it would be replaced with Bob Marley.”
After a long discussion, the owner will speak to the artist to get Michael Jackson back on the opposite side.
