Sixteen11 just released 2 books about Michael Jackson’s HIStory album.
The first one is a re-edition of the Ultimate Collector Book Volume V: HIStory which is a catalogue of all merchandise made during 1995 to 2000 issued first in 2015. This time, Fabrice and Sebastian added over 200 items that were not in the first edition.
Rob Hoffman also participated to this brand new Edition now named “The Ultimate Collector Book: HIStory, 25th Anniversary Edition”, with a preface for the 2020 edition.
The second book about HIStory is written by Pez Jax, well known in the fan community for his past book on Off The Wall and for conducting live interview on stage at Kingvention.

Hi, I bought the first edition of the book at the time. Isn’t it possible to print the 200 additional items in an additional brochure? The 45 pounds just for this extension is a little too much for me.

I am not sure that’s how re-issues work to be honest. Will you ask J. Vogel to send you only the new chapter of his book? or even asking Michael to send you only the new songs on Thriller 25 because you have already the rest? just a thought! 😉
Okay, the argument has something to it.
But to be honest, the Collectors Edition is more of a catalog than a literary or artistic work. So for me, a separate complement remains a good alternative or addition to this publication. But just my opinion …
Thank you for your opinion but we will not devalue the work that Fabrice and Sebastian have done throughout the years and up to each of us to get the book or not. It’s there if you want it, and if you don’t, we just have to pass! 🙂
