Last January, we told you the release of a two part documentary about Brooke Shields’s life called “Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields” on Hulu.
The documentary has now been played on the Disney owned channel and you might have seen a lot of buzz around it in the tabloids regarding her view on her relationship with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
In the documentary, Brooke confirmed she did not have a love relationship with Michael but mostly a friendship and she was not happy when Michael told Oprah Winfrey in 1993 that they dated.
Obviously the tabloids jumped on this part to trash Michael and taking part of the documentary out of context. But there are some inconsistency between what Brooke is saying in her new documentary and other facts and videos from past interviews from the 80s, 90s and even after 2009.
In the documentary Brooke Shields included a video message from Michael to her. It is unclear when the video was recorded by Michael but it says:
“um Hello Brooke! I’m working on my album. I just wanted to say hello and I hope I get to see you soon. Just a brief message on video. Goodbye”
