The Estate fights back Robson with a Petition for Rehearing

The Michael Jackson Estate is fighting back the decision of the California appeals court to go ahead with the Robson & Safechuck’s lawsuits.

Yesterday (September 5, 2023), the lawyers for the Estate of Michael Jackson deposited a petition for rehearing to the court of appeal of the State of California.

In this petition, the Estate is pointing out that the ruling of the court should be revisited based on past court cases and on four key points:

1. The Probate Claims Filing Scheme and Post-Death Statute of Limitations.
2. The General Negligence Claim.
3. The Negligent Hiring/Retention/Supervision Claims.
4. The Negligent Failure to Educate, Train or Warn Claim.

Their aim is to reverse the appeal court’s decision to go ahead with the trial.
