More than two thousand students will pay tribute to Michael Jackson during the 2023 Dance Festival at Espaço Viber in Brazil.
Called “Tribute to Michael Jackson”, the event will take place over 2 week-ends on November 17, 18, 19, 25 and 26 organised by the Municipality of Indaiatuba, through the Municipal Department of Culture.
“Dance is one of the pillars of our cultural workshops, which grow every year, offering new options for the population,” says the municipal secretary of Culture, Tânia Castanho. “The Dance Festival closes another season of the sport and is an opportunity for family and friends to honor the work of these children, young people and adults.”
“Tribute to Michael Jackson” brings together great hits of the King of Pop. On stage, students highlight one of the star’s passions: dance. There will be six presentations, all with different classes, but with the same bases for the choreographies. “We are rehearsing a lot to make a beautiful show for the parents, family and friends of our students,” says teacher Daniela Candello, dance coordinator of the cultural workshops.
“In 2022, we had the participation of 1,530 students and received an estimated audience of six thousand people at Espaço Viber”, recalls Tânia. “This year, there are 2,093 students and they are all invited to check out this beautiful show.”
