As you might have seen on social media, the clothing company H&M has teamed up with Rabanne to do a new collection of clothing for men and women.
While the fans have seen the similarity between the new collection and Michael Jackson’s fashion, we cannot argue that there might be some inspiration from the King of Pop there.
But just to be clear, both companies have NOT said that this collection is inspired by Michael and I think we also need to remember that H&M has removed its Michael Jackson T-shirt out of their stores and from their online store in 2019 after “Leaving Neverland” was aired.
As much as the collection is nice, some of us might not know that H&M turned their back to Michael, some of us will never forgive the brand for their actions, I am just asking every single one of you to consider the facts before posting your excitement about those products. You can decide to forgive, but please, never forget.
As I decided to not forgive, MJVibe will NOT share the link to those products.
But it seems that his own Estate forgot about it as they posted on their “King of Style” Instagram channel:
The Estate does not care about Mj or the fans. They never listen to what songs, videos or anything we want. They only care about the holy $$.
Ii agree with you to some extent, but isn’t the pupose of the Estate soley to make money for Michael’s beneficiaries ? ( and yes I do know that those running it are paying themselves a good commission)
As far as the H&M range goes, Michael will always look better than anything they copy. He was an Original and can’t be topped. A legend never dies.
Come on H&M! This fashion is completely MJ inspired!! He tops the charts with Thriller again this past month, and his fan base and financial worth is forever growing,.. AND…the Thriller documentary and Michael Biopic is in the making. Sounds to me like H&M is trying to trend with Michael’s continued success. Profit from the pre-show, so to speak! I’m interested to hear what MJ’s estate has to say about it.
