One of the most traditional events in Curitiba, the 15th edition of Zombie Walk Cwb will be held on February 11th. The concentration of the public, which usually fills the center of the capital of Paraná to follow the walk, will be at Praça Osório, starting at 9 am.
This year, the event’s program will be more than nine hours long and will be full of side attractions to cheer up the zombie horde. Check out the schedule:
In the morning, makeup artists will be in booths set up on Rua XV de Novembro, in the area next to the clock in Praça Osório, available to do makeup for adults and children. Prices start at R$ 45. The public will also be able to buy the Zombie Walk Cwb 2024 t-shirts, which cost R$ 60 and will be available in sizes S, M, L, and XL.
Another option available for those who want to record the moment will be Julian’s Kombi, in which people will be able to take pictures. Two printed strips start at R$20.
In addition to the human zombies, the pets will also be part of the walk in “The Walking Dogs”, in which pets will be able to parade in costumes.
At 11 a.m., in the concentration area, there will be a presentation of the American football athletes and cheerleaders who participate in the event. Then, the Disco Dance Company, led by choreographer and dancer Luis Fabiano Rodrigues, will perform the song “Thriller”, one of Michael Jackson’s classics.
The exhibition has been part of the official program of Zombie Walk Cwb since 2012 and is held in the middle of the public, on the sidewalk of Rua XV and on the stage at Praça Santos Andrade. Registration for the dance workshop can be made by calling (41) 99129-2210.
At 11:30 a.m., the Hell’s Angels MC football athletes and motorcycles will position themselves to gather the audience. The zombie walk starts at 12:30 p.m. and continues along XV Street to Santos Andrade Square, where the party continues with several attractions that will perform on the stage that will be set up in front of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR).
