Let’s start with the good news! The Song “Chicago” from the album “Xscape” has been certified Silver (200,000 units), just few days after the 10th Anniversary of its release. To also note in the UK, “I Want You Back” from the Jackson 5 has been certified 3x Platinum (1,800,000 units) and the single “Bad” has been certifies also Platinum (600,000 units).
Also the song “Off The Wall” has now surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify making it the 32nd Michael Jackson to be over 100 million streams on the platform.
Let’s go to the US Billboard charts right away! “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at 134 in the Billboard Top 200 Album and #49 in the Billboard Top 50 Catalogue Albums. Meanwhile, “Thriller” is at #134 in the Billboard Top 200 Album, #39 in the Billboard Top 200 Album Sales and #24 in the Billboard Top 25 Vinyls.
Meanwhile in the UK, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #15 in the Official UK Top 100 albums chart and #12 in the Official UK Top 100 Streaming albums.
Also in the UK, “Moonwalker” gained 17 places to be at #21 in the Top 50 Music DVDs.
In Ireland, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #40 in the Top 100 Albums chart. In the Netherlands, “Thriller” lost 1 spot in the Top 100 albums to be at #69. In Belgium Wallony, “Thriller” is at #169 at the Top 200 Albums Sales and in Belgium Flanders, “Thriller” is at #96 and “Bad” at #188 in the Top 200 Album Sales. In Poland, “Bad” is at #41 in the Top 50 Vinyls. In Greece, two Michael Jackson albums are in the Top 75 albums: “Thriller” at #7 and “Dangerous” at #73. In Portugal, “Thriller” is at #172 in the Top 200 Albums chart.
