Just in time for spooky season, Michael Jackson’s iconic 1983 music video for “Thriller” has surpassed one billion YouTube views.
Now to the charts in the UK: “The Essential Michael Jackson” is steady at #22 in the Top 100 Albums and #17 in the Top 100 Streaming Albums.
In Ireland, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #42 in the Top 100 Albums. In the Netherlands, “Thriller” is currently at #84 in the top 100 Albums. In Portugal, “Thriller” lost 47 spots in the Top 200 Albums to be at #194. In Greece, adding 26 places in the Top 75 Albums Sales to be at #31.
In the US, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #112 in the Billboard Top 200 Albums and #42 in the Billboard Top 50 Catalog Albums. “Thriller” is at #133 in the Billboard Top 200 Albums, #36 in the Billboard Top 50 Album Sales and #15 in the Billboard Top 25 Vinyls, all losing 2 to 12 spots in those charts. Meanwhile, the single “Billie Jean is at #173 in the Billboard Global 200 Tracks and #159 in the Billboard Global 200 Tracks excluding the UK. All in all, Michael Jackson lost 10 spots in the Billboard Top 100 Artists to be at #63.
