It’s the first MJ Charts Weekly of October, so you know what that means… Like stores and neighbors’ houses nearby, we’re decorating the MJ Charts Weekly for Halloween!
So let’s go straight to it as we have no ghouls to mess about!
In the UK, “The Essential Michael Jackson” is pretty much steady at the same positions which are this week at #22 in the Top 100 Albums and #15 in the Top 100 Streaming Albums. And as for the Top 50 Music DVDs charts, “Moonwalker” is at #36 and “Live At Wembley” re-entered at #46.
For the rest of Europe: In Ireland, “The Essential Michael Jackson is at #32 in the Top 100 Albums and “Moonwalker” is re-entering the Top 10 Music DVDs at #5!; and In the Netherlands, “Thriller” is gaining 10 spots to be at #75 in the Top 100 Albums.
In the US charts, Michael is raising in the charts already! “The Essential Michael Jackson” is at #100 in the Billboard Top 200 Albums and #40 in the Billboard Top 50 Catalogue Albums. “Thriller” is at #109 in the Billboard Top 200 Albums, #37 in the Billboard Top 50 Album Sales, #45 in the Billboard Top 50 Catalogue Albums and #14 in the Billboard Top 25 Vinyls.
As for US singles… “Billie Jean” is still doing well as it is at #174 in the Billboard Global 200 Tracks and at #148 in the Billboard 200 Tracks excluding the US. “Thriller” is gaining 4 spots in the Billboard Top 10 R&B Digital Song Sales to be at #3!
All this above is ranking Michael Jackson at #50 in the Billboard Top 100 Artists chart.
