Dancers in New York City rehearsed the iconic dance routine from Michael Jackson’s Thriller on Sunday, October 27, in preparation for the city’s 51st annual Halloween Village Parade, set for October 31.
Video footage captured dancers dressed in casual, everyday clothes performing the routine at Hudson River Park that afternoon.
The same dance was featured in last year’s parade, where it received widespread attention and praise.
This year’s parade theme, according to the official website, is “Meow.” Organizers are inviting “cat ladies of every purr-suasion to don your finest tails and whiskers” and join in the celebrations.
