This six-bedroom, 8.5-bath house — 18,500 square feet on the ground, on a 2.28 acre property — is selling for about $4.4 million
According to its listing by Keller Williams, its got an “interesting past.”
“It features the very finest woodwork, marble, etched glass, honey onyx, solid (bulletproof) doors, and wonderful space for grand-scale entertainment,” the listing reads.
The original builder created the home in the 1980s to showcase his wife’s “impressive artistic ability and to display her paintings throughout the 100-foot-long picture gallery and vast second-floor mezzanine,” according to the listing.
The listing says the prince of Bangladesh considered buying the home. And it claims it “later (served) Michael Jackson as his sanctuary.”
“The legacy of this property will continue for generations,” the listing states.
The home includes an indoor pool and spa, a two-story presidential suite with two baths and an upper-level sitting room with a fireplace and dressing room / gym.
There are also first-floor and second-floor ambassador suites, a guest suite, jack and jill beds and a TV/media room.
On the lower level is a basketball court.
The home has been previously sold for $2.6 million in 1996, then $2.9 million in 2009.
If you can afford the $4.4 million, the $43,623 the homeowners paid in property taxes for 2015 probably won’t set you back too far.

I don’t know why they are putting that place up for sale because he might not have a place to stay if people keep putting things up for sale.
