Xriss Jor, the Lebanese singer posted the below video on October 26 to expose the waste crisis affecting Lebanon for the last 3 months.
She took Michael Jackson worldwide hit ‘They Don’t Care About Us” and show what is happening in Lebanon to denounce the inertia and irresponsibility of the Lebanese government regarding the waste issue which is turning to a health crisis in Beirut.
Xriss Jor was revealed in 2012 in ‘The Voice” Arabia and at the Dubai Music Week the following year which Quincy Jones has participated.
Quincy Jones agreed to do the presentation at the beginning of the video which clearly gives it more credits to the music world.
According to the Lebanese paper “L’Orient-le-jour”, the video is already a new national anthem of this angry society.
The singer told on twitter that she covered the song to educate the world to the crisis in Lebanon.
