AI to Authenticate Your Michael Jackson Memorabilia

Two years ago, I wrote about the rising use of artificial intelligence in recreating the King of Pop through music and imagery, from eerily accurate vocal renditions to uncanny digital likenesses. (If you missed it, check out the original article here: AI and Michael Jackson – Good or Bad?).

Now, AI is stepping into another corner of the Michael Jackson world: authenticating the memorabilia that keeps his legacy alive.

A Game-Changing Move in Memorabilia Authentication?

Medical Care Technologies Inc. (OTC PINK:MDCE) just made a bold leap with the acquisition of Real Game Used (RGU), the first company in the sports and entertainment memorabilia industry to implement artificial intelligence for authentication.

RGU is game-changing,” said CEO Marshall Perkins in a recent press release. “As the first to deploy AI authentication in the space, we’re not just riding the wave, we’re building it.”

And it’s not just empty talk. RGU has already authenticated over $20 million worth of high-end memorabilia tied to some of the biggest icons in pop culture and sports: Michael Jordan, Patrick Mahomes, Elvis Presley, Lionel Messi, and of course, Michael Jackson.

With this acquisition, MDCE isn’t just expanding, it’s evolving. RGU’s technology-driven approach is setting new standards for transparency and trust in a market long plagued by fakes and forgeries. And here’s the kicker: many of RGU’s current clients are competitors of Infinite Auctions, a subsidiary of MDCE. In other words, MDCE now stands to benefit from businesses it once battled against.

What This Means for Michael Jackson Collectors?

For MJ collectors, this could be a major turning point. The memorabilia market has always had its shady corners, and fans who’ve spent years hunting down authentic Michael Jackson items, be it a worn stage glove or a signed record sleeve, know how difficult (and expensive) it can be to verify legitimacy.

RGU’s AI tools aim to bring a new level of certainty to this space. Think advanced image recognition, forensic data matching, and historical cross-referencing, all handled at lightning speed by AI. This isn’t about replacing human experts, but empowering them with tools that catch what the naked eye can’t.

A Tech-Powered Legacy?

While AI’s role in creating Michael Jackson content is still up for ethical debate, using AI to protect and preserve his authentic legacy feels like a no-brainer. Collectors, fans, and estates alike can benefit from a new level of confidence, knowing that what they own (or buy) is the real deal.

The future of memorabilia is here. But can we trust this new technology? Will it be better than shady people calling themselves “experts” to value and authenticate your precious items? Even major auction houses have gotten it wrong in the past. So, is AI the solution?

This article includes forward-looking statements based on information from MDCE’s April 9, 2025 press release. As with any investment or industry innovation, there are risks involved. Market conditions, strategy shifts, and competitive pressures may impact actual results.
