Michael Jackson has the biggest fandom in the world so there is no surprise that a Heavy Metal band member can be also a Michael Jackson fan, right? Clearly is what’s happening here and they called themselves Anni Okay!
ANNI OKAY just released a cover EP digitally in honour of The King of Pop Michael Jackson called “Annie Are You OK ?” with four songs. Below you can listen to the entire EP.
The EP was named after a line in “Smooth Criminal”. Besides the classics ‘Beat It’ , ‘Thriller’ and ‘They Do not Care About Us’, ANNI OKAY also performed the duet of Michael and his sister Janet Jackson ‘Scream’. In this track singer / guitarist Kiarely Castillo ( CONQUER DIVIDE ) is supported by a band . By the way, “Annie Are You Okay?” for ANNI OKAY is also the first output with their new drummer Nico Vaeen .

Today, 7 years have passed since the king of pop left the planet. Being a huge influence to every one of us (yes, even our name derives from ‘Smooth Criminal’), we had to honour his vast legacy somehow – So we came up with this EP, covering some of MJ’s greatest works: ‘Beat It’, ‘Scream’ (feat. Kiarely Castillo), ‘They Don’t Care About Us’ and, of course, ‘Thriller’.
This means a lot to us, and we hope you’re enjoying it as much as we do. ‘Annie Are You Okay’ is available now, for stream and download everywhere!
