The city of Mesquita in the state of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil has launched an art project called “Projeto Revitalizart” organised by the city hall to revitalise the city with beautiful art on street’s walls and give much more colour to the city.
One of the theme selected is “black personalities”: Milton Nascimento, Pelé, Zezé Motta, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King are all there!
But Michael Jackson get a special treatment with his own wall including 3 faces of the King of Pop over his career!
The Michael Jackson mural even had a special launch with local musicians playing the King of Pop music which was shared by City Counsellor Bruno Lucena:
