A French play called “Autopsie Mondiale” telling the story of the last performance between Michael Jackson and Britney Spears for the 30th Anniversary at Madison Square Garden in New York on September 2001.
Taking Michael Jackson and Britney Spears as heroes, Emmanuelle Bayamack-Tam focuses on a sacrificed youth who, once they became adults, found themselves facing their worst demons.
Critics are calling this play a “Musical Drama”, going through the dramas of their lives with a world public opinion that doesn’t want to listen to their stories and the fans defending their idols.
The staging of Clément Poirée is totally crazy. The scenography, the lights, the costumes, the make-up, the choreographies, the movements offer an amazing setting to this play text. His direction of actors is just as cheerful and allows to vibrate words and feelings. The troupe is exceptional.
We are not sure how positive this play is but happy for any French fan who went to see it, to give us all their review.
