Be aware and prepared: Mockumentary part 2 lands next month

Last May, we told you that Dan Reed, the bold mastermind behind Leaving Neverland, was working on a sequel—he was even spotted filming during court proceedings in Los Angeles last year.

Now, it seems Reed and Channel 4 couldn’t wait for the trial to wrap up (or maybe they already know it won’t end well for Safechuck and Robson), so they’ve decided to air Leaving Neverland 2 on March 18—choosing not to wait for the final verdict in 2026!

Coincidence? Highly unlikely. The official Michael Jackson biopic was originally set for April 18 but was moved to October 3 last November. Clearly, Reed and Channel 4 are scrambling to drop their so-called “documentary” first, hoping to stir up as much noise as possible before the biopic drowns them out with an outpouring of love for Michael.

Makes you wonder—what new stories will they concoct this time? What non-existent locations will Safechuck and Robson claim they were “abused” in? What other items will they set on fire on a beach after failing to sell them at auction? And, of course, what BAFTA will Channel 4 conveniently “purchase” next?

According to their statement:

“Filmed over five years with full access to Wade, James, their families, and legal teams, Reed’s sequel purports to tell the story of their difficult journey with its many twists, turns, and setbacks before its final success.”

A “difficult journey,” indeed—when your scheme to extort money from a deceased man isn’t panning out! And funny enough, so far, only Channel 4 seems interested in this sham, with no other networks or streaming platforms picking it up. That alone speaks volumes.

But for us, Michael Jackson fans, the fight isn’t over. While MJVibe keeps you updated on all things Michael—including court cases like this one—we want to make sure you, the fans, are aware and ready for this release. No one should be caught off guard when it suddenly pops up on your TV screen or when a family member, friend, or colleague brings it up.

  1. Now that there is official talk of a million dollar lawsuit and an attack against the estate, the media and many others will probably be wary of promoting it widely. Such content is more than ridiculous. Corey Feldman could also sue a film company, claiming that he was abused while in their care and that they should compensate him because their employees are to blame. Would be the same.

It will probably be a purely British scandal show as the Sun likes it, with lots of drama, slander, heartache, healing, pity, and of course hate speech against us MJ fans. I seem to remember him comparing us to followers of a conspiracy theorist and saying we were hypocritical halo effecters and truthers or something like that. Robson and Safechuck are not victims but liars and we have every right in the world to speak the truth clearly and openly.

It will indeed be a difficult journey when many have to explain to themselves what this has to do with justice. What do many people actually gain from Robson & Safechuck becoming rich when real victims of the Catholic Church, for example, can be happy to have their therapy paid for and a small compensation? These bad actors are not much help to real victims and it is time to make that clear.

Didn’t Danny say he would only do a sequel if he got the Chandlers, Arvizos or others and he wanted to film their civil trial? Instead we get whining from the same two guys who can’t get any healing in the form of money? Who actually believes stories about fictitious buildings and beds and alleged events in places where Michael Jackson probably has many alibis? What a flop!
