Chris Brown has been trending on social media for few days after singer Tank (I had to google him to know who he was) appeared for an interview with Stephen A. Smith, saying that Brown was “better than Michael Jackson“.
The video got a lot of attention among the fan community as, well we just don’t like it when someone compare artists, especially Michael.
Brown has now responded to Tank’s words and shared a clip of an interview from 2022 on the same show through his instagram story.
“I stay the hell out of it. Like, I kind of back of it. My personal take on is like I wouldn’t even be breathing or even being able to sing a song if that man didn’t exist.”
I wasn’t going to talk about Tank’s comparison of Chris Brown to Michael Jackson, but having Chris Brown once again respond and defend Michael’s legacy is honorable.
We all know that Brown is a fan of Michael, and every time someone compares him to Michael, he always responds as a true fan: there is only one Michael Jackson, there is only one King of Pop.

The real truth is. If Michael were still with us. He would continue to create, perfect, and be innovative. Constantly evolving and amazing us.
He often mentioned his inspirations, Artists who impacted him but he never compared Talent.
Some artists are incomparable like MJ and Prince. They inspire others but No-one should claim to be better than.
What others do is continue to impersonate or USE his creations and dance moves to better themselves. They may even TRY to do it better But his magic can’t be impersonated, and if they try… Well.
