If you remember, last week we posted a video of two police men in Iowa, USA, lip Sync to “Black or White” as part of a lip sync challenge which is happening at the moment in the police departments in the USA.
This time is the turn of the Miami Township Police department and they selected “Smooth Criminal” which is in a way perfect for this!
Miami Township police officers joined the lip sync trend recently to promote two charitable causes.
Officers lip synced along to Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” to benefit the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation and Joyride, Inc., according to a press release by the police department.
“We chose the Michael Jackson theme to go along with the next First Friday Food Truck Frenzy at Austin Landing,” Dan Wessling, vice-chairman of the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation and Miami Township detective, said. “Who’s Bad — The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience is performing that night, so the song is perfect to have a little fun and raise money for a great cause at the same time.”
On August 3 from 6 to 10:30 p.m., benefits the law enforcement foundation’s efforts to build a permanent memorial honoring fallen officers.
The lip sync also gave a shout out to Joyride, Inc., which provides children with special needs the opportunity to take a spin in high-performance cars such as Ferraris and Teslas. The next Joyride event is Saturday at 11 a.m. at Austin Landing.
