The actor used to play Ben Mitchell’s boyfriend, Paul Coker, on the hit BBC One soap before he was killed off in an explosive storyline.
And Jonny has now decided to try his hand at dancing on the new ITV show.
Dance Dance Dance sees celebrities, who are allowed to pair up with a friend or family member, perform iconic dance routines in front of a panel of judges.
This evening, Jonny and his girlfriend of one year, Chrissy, took on Michel and Janet Jackson’s Scream.
And the duo did NOT disappoint after scoring an impressive 26 points in total.
Talking about the “powerful” performance, judge Tina Landon, who actually choreographed Michael and Janet in that music video, praised the dancers.
Tina said: “The energy Jonny gave, it was like watching Michael just for a second.”
While judge, Ashley Banjo, said: “I was sold from the very first move, you came forward so powerfully.
“You smashed that – incredible!”
Viewers were also left amazed at home and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
