The innovative symphony project “Michael Jackson: Thriller – The Story and Legend of the King of Pop” pays tribute to the unique Michael Jackson. The tribute concert presents the fascinating and contrasting musical history of the singer who revolutionized the form and content of music with a mix of voice and dance that the world has never seen or heard. Michael Jackson’s influence on world pop culture is unmatched and evident in the style of both his contemporaries such as Madonna and Bobby Brown, and the work of newer generation stars such as Justin Timberlake and Usher.
The show was created in 2022, 40 years after the release of Thriller, the album that changed pop music forever, and the self-titled single broke all records. The crossover concert features Italian singers Clarissa Vicci and Mattia Chascia, stars of the musical and formats The Voice and X-Factor, together with Roberto Molineli – conductor, composer and violist, world-famous for the realization of projects in all musical genres: from classical to jazz, pop and rock. The orchestra of the State Opera Varna plays.
