We all know Selmo Wander who sculpted Mini and life sizes Michael Jackson. He first exhibited his art works back in 2016 and he is back with a free exhibition from November 1 to 30, 2022 from 9am to 5pm at the São Gonçalo Municipal Theatre, in Brazil.
The perfect way to celebrate Michael Jackson’s Thriller’s 40th Anniversary with more than 50 sculptures.
“There will be two life-size statues of Michael, plus about 50 on a 30 cm scale, all of Michael’s. And we will have an exhibitor with other characters on a smaller scale, depicting characters from music, tv, games, series and etc”, said Selmo, who will also make a model on the emblematic video of “Thriller”
Selmo Wander was born in São Gonçalo and at the age of seven, motivated by series and TV cartoons, began to draw his lines instinctively, but it was a music video – “Don’t stop ’til you get enough”, by Michael Jackson – that made him start his professional path.
The Exhibition is free so do not hesitate to go and visit!
