Art comes in different shapes and forms and French artist Jerome Bourgeot is literally playing with those to create his paintings.
But don’t be fooled! This is not a painting! It is a superimposition of different coloured papers, cut and shaped and placed carefully to create an image.
The 27 years old artist from Nancy in France has created many portraits and designs taken from the music world, movies, cartoons and fashion.
Jerome created portraits of Bob Marley, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Mohamed Ali, Madonna, Elizabeth Taylor and many more!
But last April, he designed a 30x40cm art of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, in the famous “lean” from “Smooth Criminal” and it is absolutely breath taken!
Yesterday, Jerome posted his new MJ artwork in the King of Pop / “Black or White” pose:
Those pieces are just beautiful and amazingly made!
