Fan campaigns have became a sort of trend among the Michael Jackson fan community. We had the multiple campaigns to bring Michael Jackson’s short films to a billion on YouTube or to bring back some of his songs into the charts with the latest one being “Thriller” for Halloween.
While fans are still campaigning for “Beat It” to get a Billion views on YouTube (which will happen at any moment now), here is a new one: To bring “Earth Song” back in the charts for Christmas.
The song was released in November 1995 and got to #1 in numerous countries during the end of year 1995.
It often comes back in the charts as shown in 2006, 2009, 2013 and in 2017 so the probability for the song to be back this year is high, especially with the numerous world wide issues and wars.
Organisers are asking fans to “stream & purchase “Earth Song” from December 15th 2003 and get this anthem back in the charts this Christmas.”
