The Estate of Michael Jackson just released a photo of Jaafar Jackson who will be playing Michael Jackson in the upcoming biopic “Michael”.
With only the following statement “The journey has begun…”
The official biopic is due for April 2025 and has sparkled interests in the fan community, some for having an A-lister Actor playing John Branca and some for the excitement of having a biopic about the King of Pop.
Photograph by the renowned photographer Kevin Mazur, who documented Michael’s final rehearsal, and is now the first to photograph Jaafar in character as Michael.
Including Prince Jackson:
Following the post on social media, the response of the fans have been very positive and all impressed on how Jaafar transformed well to Michael.
Only few cast members have been announced so far:
- Jaafar Jackson as adult Michael Jackson
- Juliano Valdi as young Michael Jackson
- Nia Long as Katherine Jackson
- Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson
- Miles Teller as John Branca
- Nathaniel McIntyre as young Jackie Jackson (not officially confirmed)
- Jayden Harville as young Jermain Jackson (not officially confirmed)

This so nice for Michael jackson and his family, been long overdue but I guess it wasn’t the time for it. I’m just glad that it’s happening now for the public please accept this and just be positive and happy for the Jackson family.

It’s hard to believe that MJJ is Gone..I feel like he’s the King of Pop and it’s hard to replace..MJJ was one of a Kind and his moves and music can’t be replace.His music now have New generation is listening and loving him and now they are seeing the Best And his family is proud of what he has done and did his children stay positive and proud.i remember the J5 from Gary Indiana I live in Gary’s Own J5 City MJJ and his brothers we love them too. This is a absurd to think that some could be reborn as Michael jackson he may be a look alike who learnt hos to dance and sing that’s all it is.

Michael and the Temptations is what got me into singing at the age of 4, once I realized that I could carry a tune. But I followed the Jacksons all thru childhood, and I even started performing his music throughout the years. When he passed it was a startling shock to me and my family, and my friends. I am forever grateful for what he has taught me as a vocalist and dancer
