A powerful storm that hit Los Angeles decimated Hollywood’s go-to final resting place as strong winds toppled trees and downed power lines. A number of celebrity graves were littered with broken branches and debris at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills following the storm over the weekend. Some headstones were knocked down and ornamental bushes uprooted.
A number of violent storms hit California over the weekend, leaving more than 120,000 residents without electricity. More storms are reportedly expected this week.
But no worries, Michael Jackson resting place is intact and no damages have been reported to the building where he lays. Most of the damages are within the ground of the memorial. It is recommended to not visit the site until it is safe to go and also giving time for the Forest Lawn staff to clean the mess.
