The portrait of Michael Jackson in a lace veil taken by Greg Gorman is currently on display at the Calais Art Museum from April 20th to November 3rd.
The photo was taken by Gorman in 1987 for the album “BAD” and the print was acquired in 2001 by the “Cite de la Dentelle et de la Mode”.
The museum launched its “What Beautiful Faces” exhibition after Director Anne-Claire Laronde contacted the Estate to check if it was ok to display the portrait. However, they decided to not use the portrait for the promotion of the exhibition.
The entry is free.
