From the first trailer of the documentary released last year, we already knew that Janet will be speaking about Michael with some footage from 1995 during the planning of “SCREAM” short film.
A new trailer was released few days ago to promote the 2-part documentary and not only Janet Jackson will speak about her Super Bowl recalled “Nipplegate” but also how the allegations.
Janet is asked if the allegations against Michael hurt her career, she replied, “Yeah. Guilty by association — ’cause that’s what they call it, right?”
Obviously trash tabloids jumped on the comment to attack Michael Jackson but it is unclear at this stage how the conversation on the subject will go, until we hear from Janet’s herself on January 28.
Some Michael Jackson fans who have listened to the tabloids have been attacking Janet on social media.
As Michael wrote in his song “Tabloid Junkie”:

Or see it on the TV screen

Jackson matriarch, Katherine, is also interviewed for the documentary. She is asked how she feels about talking about Mike on camera and replies, while fighting back tears, “I can’t.” Â
This is *really* much ado about nothing. I’ve seen these debates on social media, and I very much doubt if Janet will say anything further, in the documentary itself, about the allegations. The film is meant to be about Janet—an important artist in her own right—and she has probably long wanted to get out from under the shadow of her brother.
It’s especially a shame to emphasize this aspect of the trailer, since women have often not received the same acclaim and respect that their male counterparts have. We don’t know *who* was responsible for putting together the trailer, in which MJ is only mentioned in a a two-second snippet. Let’s wait and see the entire film.
Janet Jackson, who can’t sing by the way, her career has been over for over a decade. Her comment is disgusting and gives credence to those lying accusers, including Geffen and Oprah.
