Last Friday, rapper and singer Kid Cudi who is promoting his new album called “Insano”, has done a Michael Jackson!
He erected giant statues of himself in different part of the world, reported in Southern California, New York and Paris so far.
The 33-foot statues stunt is really similar to the 1995’s Michael Jackson HIStory promotion with a 32-foot statue of Michael which appeared in London, Paris, Berlin and other part of the world to launch his famous HIStory album.
Unlike with Michael back in 1995, the media have welcome the move and promotion. I guess being seen as egomaniac is now a good thing?
Michael Jackson was the first one, nearly 3 decades ago, to have done something huge like this. One more feet and flashing eyes will not take that away from what the King of Pop has accomplished with the promotion of HIStory!
