Fan Magazines have been part of the fandom since the beginning of the Jackson 5.
Dedicated fans spent many hours, resources, talent and funds to create a beloved magazine that other fans wanted to read! This is way before the time of the internet when the only way to find information about Michael Jackson and the community was delivered on paper!
In the 90s, Francophone countries had “Black or White” and English speaking countries had “KING!”
KING! was created by a team of fans led by Gloria Haydock that unfortunately passed away last year. And they gave so much to our community! From concert tickets to meeting Michael Jackson himself, the work was huge and Michael relied on those fan clubs and magazines to spread the news among the fans! He gave special access to merchandise, pictures, news, releases and so on!
If you were born in the internet era or you missed buying those amazing magazines, nothing is lost!
Thanks to an amazing fan, King of Shop has secured a huge stock of existing King! Magazines from the 90s and 00s that were destined to be disposed of!

I attended their parties and have a huge back catalogue of this fanzine. It was started by Adrian grant who released a few books on Michael . 3t performed at one MJ day in the 90’s. The ghosts premiere in 1997 in Leicester Square , tickets were available through king magazine. It was amazing with all the fans singing along. Michael sent a message to the fans at mj days which was shown on the main screen. He was gracious and respectful to loyalty of his fans. A great man.
