Michael Jackson Estate & Family joined forces at the Diamond Celebration in Las Vegas

Michael Jackson Estate celebrated Michael Jackson Diamond Birthday in Las Vegas on August 29 at the Mandalay Bay casino.

Coordinated by the Estate of Michael Jackson and Sony Music, the festivities kicked off with an early evening performance of Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Soleil, followed by an exclusive after-party at Daylight Beach Club, both at Mandalay Bay.

Over a 1,000 fans turned up for the event to also meet some members of the family members like Paris and Prince and also Michael’s brothers Tito & Jackie.

Other celebrities turned up to the party such as USHER, Kenny Ortega and Mark Ronson who just released a mix of Michael’s songs for the Birthday in collaboration with Sony.

For the event, the Michael Jackson Estate joined forces with The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation to bring health care to southern Malawi.  Paris Jackson, who is an Ambassador for the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, accepted the 2018 Elizabeth Taylor Legacy Award for Humanitarian Service awarded to their father posthumously.

Fans also enjoyed the after party full of Michael’s music.

There will be no Birthday without a cake!

A hand full of fans had also the opportunity to have a Q&A with John Branca, Exec of the Michael Jackson Estate.

To date, we have no information about what has been asked to the Estate during the Q&A but we are hoping to have more information soon especially about Thriller 3D, the current Law suit regarding the 2010 fake songs and upcoming new songs or albums.

NOTES from the Q&A:
– Thriller 3D will be released Worldwide and for a week only
– “GHOSTS” to be released within the next 2 years
– All videos on Vimeo to be remastered
– A new Spike Lee Documentary in the pipeline [Thriller is the obvious choice]
– The Estate is challenging the RIAA on the Eagles’s becoming the biggest selling album in the US. An investigation is on course.
– A Michael Jackson Museum is in the talk but the place is still to be found.
– HIStory Tour might be released with a documentary but this is not planned for a near future.
