On September 25, 2022, Michael Jackson Fan and talented Japanese painter, Hitomi Osanai, has passed away due to incurable illness.
Hitomi was well-known in the Michael Jackson Fan Community; her artistry went above the borders of Japan and many of us saw or purchased her paintings and drawings of the King of Pop.
Her style was unique, fresh, colourful with watercolour technics and full of love for Michael. She was also a kind and generous person.
In 2017, she even had her own exhibition in Tokyo and she donated few of her paintings to the fan-made ‘MJ On The Wall’ Exhibition in 2016 and 2019 in London.
At MJVibe, we were lucky enough to know and work with Hitomi in our own Fan Magazine “Iconic”. She designed sketches and drawings exclusively for the magazine.
A farewell ceremony, in the traditional Japanese way, will be hold September 30th.
Rest in peace Hitomi and thank you for the magic! You will be missed in the Worldwide Michael Jackson Fan Community, but your art is eternal!
