Michael Jackson portraiture gets final brush strokes
Street I Am decided to shoot a series of live videos from the Michael Jackson mural site over the last two weeks. Last week the portrait was due to be finished and our readers were there . The mural is the second mural of a two mural site from artist Levi Ponce. The site is located at 4900 Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood, California, USA. The site features murals of Jimi Hendrix and the latest, that of Michael Jackson.
Arriving with work in progress
When I arrived, there was already a small crew with Levi. Some helping out, all in a festive mood. Fellow Pacoima local and new muralist, JP of JP Murals was there. Look for jpmurals on Instagram to see some of his work. Also San Fernando Valley Art Collective Beats & Pieces came to give support and praise.
