In a 2015 interview, J.K. Rowling talked about the Harry Potter’s franchise and how much she at first rejected when the movie went to stardom!
Rowling admitted she once received a proposal from the King of Pop to adapt the movie into a musical.
At the time, Rowling refused the proposal and we can only imagine how amazing that would have been.

Few years later and after Michael’s passing, the musical Harry Potter debuted in London in 2016.
Michael Jackson was a real fan of the Harry Potter movies and even gave tickets to the cast for “This Is It” concerts in London in 2009.
