After few years, the HIStory Statue used in the HIStory Album Teaser is back in the lobby of the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
Home of Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil, the statue was originally display from July 2016 to June 2019.
The Statue is owned by the Michael Jackson Estate who graciously lent the Statue to the Resort. It was used to shot the helicopters shot in the teaser and was seen in the London Official Michael Jackson Exhibition which ran from October 2009 to March 2010.
The switch of deco in the lobby back in June 2019 came in a bad timing as the general public thought it was due to cancel culture but it was just a switch of deco.

The statue was also in the MJ Fanfest here in Vegas when MJ the Immortal World Tour played in the auditorium at Mandalay Bay, back in Dec 2011. I next saw it when it was installed to promote MJ ONE, and am so happy it’s back!!!
