MJ, the new musical inspired by the life of Michael Jackson, has been rumored to be Broadway-bound for some time.
Today, producers have made it official. The musical, drawing from the hits performed by the pop superstar, will begin previews on July 6, 2020, toward an opening night of August 13. MJ will have its run at Broadway’s Neil Simon Theatre.
Tickets for MJ The Musical will go on sale on January 15, 2020, at 10 a.m.
I sm super excited! I will be at the box office at 10 am to purchase 3 orchestra seats, for my daughter, my grandson and myself! He he he he!
I very much want this show to be a success. It’s important for Michael’s legacy that it not fail. It won’t be Nottage the critics blame if it bombs. I await the feedback (from fans – not critics) from the preview shows before I start playing a trip to NY to see it.
Nottage says MJ is flawed, so how do we know she is not going to make MJ look bad in this show. Why did they allow her even be part of this if she has such a negative view of MJ.
I can’t wait!! I will be making plans to be there!!
