Tickets go on sale today with pre-sale already happening for the new Michael Jackson Estate’s project: MJ The Musical formally called “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough”.
This project is already dividing the fan community due to some comments that Lynn Nottage and Christopher Wheeldon have made publicly a couple of months ago regarding the two protagonists in the movie “Leaving Neverland”:
‘I think they were telling the truth.’ said Nottage.
Not to mention Dan Reed was fast to share her opinion!
While the Estate tried to do some control-damage with an email sent to all the fan clubs, the division is clear: Those who refused to support the project and those who will buy a (pricey) ticket to see the show in New York in July.
The both arguments are valid! “Why should I support a project created by someone who thinks Michael Jackson is guilty?” and “I will support this project to support Michael Jackson no matter what. I want the name”Michael Jackson” to be a success”
While at MJVibe we think the Estate and especially Nottage have some answering to do, we also want all fans to make their own choices and decide for themselves but we also want to make sure everyone has all information in hand to do so.
Here the first promotional video released for the musical:
