While Broadway shows have been hit badly by the new COVID Variant Omicron, MJ The Musical wasn’t spared. After a number of shows cancelled due to staff and performers catching the virus, few more staff and actors including Myles Frost, were reported falling ill.
On December 29, actor Myles Frost, who plays adult Michael, didn’t come back for Act 2. He was replaced by understudy Aramie Payton, who is said to have acquitted himself very well.
The day after, the show was cancelled due to non-Covid-related illness:
