While Siedah Garrett did not get her character in the movie, her former colleagues Darryl Phinnessee and Kevin Dorsey got a part!
And if you have been to Kingvention, you may know who they are.
Darryl Phinnessee, Grammy Award winning singer, Emmy- nominated songwriter, performer, composer, vocal arranger and producer, will be played by Cedric Lewis Stephens.
Stephens is mostly a TV Series actor and played in “Paradise City” in 2021 and recently in “Head Over Hill” last year.
Kevin Dorsey, Vocal Director, will be played by actor Darrell Hughes which can be seen in “John Wick: Chapter 4” in 2023, “80 for Brady” in 2023 and “America’s Most Wanted” TV Series in 2021.
