This November, Julien’s Auction will offer more Michael Jackson items to grab and here few of them:
A Michael Jackson-signed red “Beat It” style leather jacket. The jacket is inscribed in black marker at left breast “Beat it! / Love / Michael Jackson.”
Accompanied by a letter from the person who was given the jacket after visiting Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. No size or label present.
A CBS Canada paperweight commemorating the one million dollars in sale made by Michael Jackson for his sixth studio album, Thriller, in 1982.
The album is celebrating its 40th anniversary on November 30, 2022.
A group of two gray cotton blend T-shirts, both with text on the back reading, “The/ Jacksons/ Victory Tour ’84/ Video Crew.” One size “XL” and one size “M.”
Saved by Bill Bray, the Jackson family’s longtime head of security. Consigned by Bray’s widow.
A framed certificate from the New Westminster Police Department appointing Michael Jackson as an honorary officer of the department on November 18, 1984.
Framed, 13.75 x 11 inches; sight, 10.75 x 8.25 inches
A black double-breasted blazer with white beaded stripes, worn by Michael Jackson in a 1988 photo alongside manager Frank DiLeo and Pee-Wee Herman. The wool-blendjacket, by Sullivan Suits, features three front pockets, two interior pockets, black buttons, and a red band around the right arm. No size present. Accompanied by a photo print of Jackson wearing the jacket.
A reference model of Michael Jackson’s character for the anthology film Moonwalker (MJJ Productions, 1988).
During the final transition of Michael Jackson’s character into a robot, this bust serves as a production-made model to show the design direction. The exterior is iridescent silver paint over a fiberglass and plaster body. The base features a wooden plug for support.
The facial structure of this reference model exhibits sharp cheekbones and jawline.
The scale of this casting is 1:1.
Accompanied by a DVD of the film.
A custom made Gibson V-wing guitar smashed by Michael Jackson in the Mark Romanek directed video for the song “Scream,” from Michael Jackson’s 1995 album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I.
The track was particularly notable as it was a duet between Michael and his sister Janet Jackson.
The guitar was broken into three sections, one of which is signed and inscribed to the video’s director by both Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. The guitar smashing scene was shot in a single take, making this the only guitar from the video shoot.
A red and black leather, commemorative “Thriller” style jacket, signed and inscribed by Michael Jackson in black marker “Love Always, Michael Jackson 1998.”
Though he signed it “1998,” the jacket was actually signed by Jackson during a stop on his 1997 “HIStory World Tour.” This was a common occurrence during that year and some believe it is a reference to the upcoming birth of his daughter Paris.
The zip-up jacket features two front pockets, red panels to the front with red snap buttons, a red nylon interior lining, and black leather stripe details. Size M. No label present.
