Julien Auctions will host a 3 day-auction on November 16, 17 & 18 called “PLAYED, WORN, & TORN: ROCK ‘N’ ROLL ICONIC GUITARS AND MEMORABILIA”.
The auction has multiple Michael Jackson items such as Awards (“The Jacksons” album RIAA Gold Record Award, “The Jacksons – Live Album” RIAA Gold Record Award, 2009 Favorite Soul R&B Artist American Music Award), some autographed items such as the “We Are The World” sleeve, wardrobe fashion illustration, “What More Can I Give” tribute print or magazines.
Some items are standing our such as the Sega “AS-1 Scramble Training” Spacesuit. Michael Jackson plays Commander Jackson, a space police officer in a Sega simulator ride film AS-1 Scramble Training. You do not see the full jumpsuit, only the upper chest and shoulders of the jumpsuit are visible. Jackson was on his “Dangerous” world tour in Japan in 1993, when he filmed the video for Sega. He wore a similar jumpsuit on his world tour, which was also designed by Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush, the one featured in the video has added embellishments of silver-hardware, cyber-chip, and name/badge with an image of Michael Jackson.
Or a 35mm film copy of the music video Michael Jackson: Thriller (Optimum Productions, 1983) given to Walter R. Yetnikoff by Michael Jackson when he was the president and CEO of CBS Records, which included Jackson’s Epic label.
And a custom made black-military-style-jacket with gold hardware embellishments, stage-worn by Michael Jackson during the 1992-93 “Dangerous World Tour.”
