The Grévin museum in Montreal, Canada has removed Michael Jackson wax work Sunday night (10/03/2019).
The director of the museum has said this is nothing to do with “Leaving Neverland” documentary but only due to the fact that the statue was damaged over the week.
“It is often the case that some personalities get removed from the museum for repair or maintenance. As they are made of wax, they are very fragile. Every day a team of 3 experts ensure all the wax works are presentable. […] It is a pure hazard that this specific statue was removed” –
Kathleen Payette – General Manager of Musée Grévin
However, it usually takes 2 weeks for any repairs but the Museum has not made the decision to have Michael Jackson back on the museum floor! “We haven’t taken any decision if the personality will return. We are following the news and the repairs are under way. The decision should be taken shortly but no confirmation to date” says Payette.
MJVibe will be sure to keep an eye on this and make sure Michael Jackson is back in the museum!
