On November 1, Netflix will release a 2 part documentary “Inside The Mind”. The first part is on Freddie Mercury and the second on Michael Jackson.
In this series renowned psychiatrist, Dr Bob Johnson, will explore the incredibly complex and unusual lives of Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson. He’ll reveal the forces and experiences that shaped their unique personalities – from childhood traumas and family life to relationships and their music careers, this will be a complete picture of the private men behind the public masks.
EPISODES:
– Freddie Mercury
Theatrical yet shy, excessive yet humble, exalted yet doomed – there has never been a frontman like Freddie Mercury; his hedonistic lifestyle captivated the press whilst his creative genius saw him top the charts with hit record after hit record. But hiding behind his carefully crafted public persona was a tumultuous inner life that few got to see.
Now, in this fascinating programme, acclaimed psychiatrist Dr Bob Johnson, combined with contributions from those who knew Freddie Mercury the best, will try to uncover the disparity between what people think they know about Freddie and who he really was. Secretive to the very end, we will build a psychological picture of the man who started life as Farrokh Bulsara, but ended it as Freddie Mercury.
– Michael Jackson
Black or white? Man or Child? Extrovert or Introvert? Gay or straight? Michael Jackson is a man who leaves so many questions unanswered; his baffling choice of decisions from relationships, marriages, children, spending and drug dependency. So who was this man, and why did he operate in such strange ways with such bizarre consequences? His story is one of the great riddles of popular culture.
In this programme psychiatrist Dr Bob Johnson, will unpick a childhood of abuse, being one of many children, incredible early superstardom, untold riches, accusation and exile, to stitch together the man behind the mask of plastic surgery, misinformation and mystery. What led this man to behave the way he did with children and did he realise how that would lead to his own self-destruction? Did his childhood (and adulthood) as a global star where boundaries never existed, make him believe he was untouchable, or delude him that his own moral compass was in fact right? How did his experiences of childhood shape his own disturbed reality? We go inside the complex and controversial mind of Michael Jackson.
Despite having interviews with some of Michael Jackson collaborators and friends, it seems that this documentary is also based on pure speculations from director Zoran Trajkovic.
Ce documentaire ne présage rien de bon. Je ne comprends pas cet acharnement à affirmer que MJ était bizarre ou perturbé. Ne le sommes-nous pas tous ?
Fantastic news!!! I can’t wait 🙂
What’s fantastic about it unlessyou believe the lies about MJ. yOURONTHE WRONGSITE IDIOT!
Really disturbing news. I do not After reading the part of MJ i do not expect any good of this series.
Always remember: Michael Jackson did not abused children! he was falsely accused and that’s why his life became even more dramatic than it was. The world misunderstood him and let him fall. When he was our highest role model.
Couldnt have said it better myself!!
Soooooo true !
I honestly am bittersweet about this. It’s good, but I’m concerned they aren’t gonna do it right and repeat some lies about MJ.

This is just another dime-a-dozen unauthorized documentary from the Reelz Channel. They air 24/7 content about the history of famous celebrities, but they obviously don’t have the rights to play any official footage or music from that artist. They just use bad re-enactments and AP or public domain news footage.
When will this documentary come out?
It says November 1st but that already passed and it’s not there.
People think they know Michael trying to make money on his name make me sick. They get it wrong every time suck of it. I will watch it and stick up for Mike bloody morons suck of them leave Mike alone.
Yes, I agree with Wesley and Liliana. Read my comment ( in French ).
Black or white? Always black. He always stated he was a proud black man. Vitiligo doesn’t change race.
Man or Child? Well, obviously child first then grew up to be a man.
Gay or straight? Obviously straight. It’s even stated in Raymond Chandler’s book that Evan drugged Jackson and literally asked him if he was gay to which Michael said nope.
Someone message Zoran Trajkovic and ‘Dr’ Bob Johnson these simple facts they clearly haven’t a clue about if they have to question them in their synopsis. Netflix thought Leaving Neverland was worth having in their library so they clearly don’t bother to fact check things.
Thank you, S ! Happy to read true things about MJ; I ‘m really fed up with lies, again lies. MJ was a good person. I ‘m sad he had to go through a tough time.
Le documentaire à la con de plus…tout comme “Leaving Neverland” !!! Ça devient saoulant !!! Foutez-lui la paix !!!
Je suis d’ accord avec toi, Franco !
Here we go again , Who needs money now? Oh yeah lets do a documentary lie on Michael ….let me say this Michael what divinity put on you the world hate it but cant obtain it .the love of Money is the root to all evil. Michael thankyou for your gift of music you made many hearts happy, many feet danced and left many breathless literally R.I.P love.😚
Give it a rest will you. becoming boring and relentless with your money making crap!… yawn yawn yawn…
Shouldn’t someone after departed from this world have the right to rest in peace ???
You call yourself a psychiatrist – but that’s debatable… and while we are at this comment can you stop & give his family peace too….
Ps great comments to most !!! How sickening this all is…
And let’s not forget the verdict of innocence please or does law not count coz your m.j – where is the justice in a person not being able to retaliate to your dramas and accusations…
Mah… money – money money – I’m sure he made a wonderful song about that !!!
I watched the documentary. I knew there were issues with the Michael Jackson part as soon they used the fact that Michael didn’t like Tommy Mottola as evidence that he blamed his low record sales on his record company when another famous artist who also released an album in 2001 with issues, Mariah Carey, has basically said the same things.
