If you remember, In August we told you about a little French boy called Ziiad who wanted to buy Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch.
Ziiad who is now 8 is still planning to buy the ranch for his mom, and even got organized.
His mother, Allison Depaepe told “Very young, Ziiad started to sing his songs, then he started dancing and imitate him and now he has become a fan himself! One day he woke up and said “Mom, I will buy Neverland””
Ziiad is maybe only 8 but he has a good head on his shoulders. He knows that the ranch is at a high tag price ($31 million) but he wants to buy the ranch to make his mom happy and re-open the park for all the children in the world, without discrimination, create jobs and continue Michael’s dream!
He has now took the matter into his hands and social media with pledges on Tik Tok and facebook; he also wrote letters to French President Emmanuel Macron and ex-US President Donald Trump for some help.
Allison said “for the moment we didn’t get a response but we are going to open an online campaign to collect funds. If the project never happens, all the collected money will go to charity”
Ziiad has also contacted French personalities and he would like to record a song such as “We Are The World” to boost the donations.
The single mother and her son would like to go to Neverland themselves to evaluate the property and realise a dream of theirs by July 2021 but the language is a barrier Allison said.
