Here we are with the first week since ‘Off The Wall’ was released including not only the traditional album but also Spike Lee’s ‘Michael Jackson’s Journey from Motown to Off The Wall’.
For a re-release, no one was expecting big numbers as promotion in the UK has been limited to very distinct media outlets, but thankfully the album took a first week placing in the Top 100 album charts.
Based on the new style charts, the position reached is a culmination of physical sales, downloads and online streaming from services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Official UK Chart Top100 Album placed at 62 (including streaming and physical sales)
Official UK Chart SALES ONLY placed at 52
Let’s hope it can maintain its position for another week and not get knocked Off the Charts…
