Offset channels Michael Jackson in new video and album cover

After the red carpet’s Michael Jackson looks throughout the year and a massive Michael Jackson tattoo, Offset just released his new single and video called “FAN”. In this video, Offset takes many aspects of Michael Jackson’s career.

“Beat It”, “Thriller”, “Smooth Criminal”… the outfits are there but also some nice touches such as the “Off The Wall” Album or the Thriller microphone toy can be seen in the background!

Offset recreate the “Thriller” video (sort of) with the cinema scene, the walking scene, the werewolf scene, the zombie scene, all taking place in Offset’s dream/nightmare while is wearing a “Beat It” T-shirt. He also go into a club which we might also called “Modern Club30”, where he wears the full “Smooth Criminal” outfit and take on some of the moves from the famous short film.

His upcoming album also has a touch of Michael Jackson. Offset revealed the cover and the name of the album “Set It Off” to be release on October 13, which shows Offset dressed like MJ: black sequin suit, one glove, highwater pants and sparkly white socks — getting blown away from an exploding building:
