Since the official release of a picture of Jaafar Jackson as Michael Jackson by the Estate and the production company, the fan community has been buzzing and the excitement for the upcoming biopic has taken another level to the point some fans have been wondering Los Angeles hoping to get a glimpse of the filming.
The media (our favourite) has noticed that and has commissioned few paparazzi to do the same.
In the last few days, we have seen numerous pictures such as the old Tower Records store being restored for the film:

We also saw a video filmed at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles:
Siedah Garrett, song writer for “Man In The Mirror” and “Keep The Faith”, who appeared as a duet on “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” and toured with Michael on the Dangerous World Tour, was also on one of the set of the movie and posted a picture of her in front of the control monitors but has since removed her post.
Today is a set of pictures of Jaafar and co for a scene in front of a Los Angeles home.
He was wearing high-water black pants with white socks and black shoes. Jackson’s co-star Nia Long was clad in a dark blue pantsuit with a matching dark blue purse and a light blue cravat.
The interest for the biopic and Jaafar is becoming insane and we are sure to see more photos and videos coming soon. However, some fans are still unsure of the result we will see in 2025, especially since a A lister actor as been casted for John Branca character. Others are not so happy to see so much already, saying they do not want to watch the biopic through social media. Few are saying that the whole leaks of photos and videos is a distraction from the fact that the Estate has sold half of Michael’s catalogue to Sony. Also, it seems that the release of a song “Rebirth of Michael” by Jaafar Jackson is a hoax and is not sang by Jaafar, but with excitement, many fans have been sharing and arguing about the song all over social media; giving even more exposure to the biopic and Jaafar himself.
Is this going to turn to a circus show? Are we, the fans, responsible for some of it? Are we allowed to be excited? Are we allowed to feel uneasy about the whole project? Are we not over exposed to the biopic? Do we want to see more? Do we want to see less?
All these questions are to each of us, individually, to answer.
