Kawehi, a one-woman band out of Kansas, covers some amazing artists including Michael Jackson, Nirvana and Justin Timberlake.
The young musician, originally from Honolulu, kills the King of Pop’s “The Way You Make Me Feel.” She has covered a multitude of artists and bands from all different genres.
Kawehi beatboxes, sings and adds supporting instruments by either playing them or using and Ableton, who’s website she has been featured on.
“Ninety percent of my live set is looping,” Kawehi told Elle magazine. “I got into it a couple of years ago.”
She has been making waves recently with her cover of Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box.” She even received a shout out via Twitter from Courtney Love, who was married to the late Nirvana front man, Kurt Cobain.
